| Zoom In - This tool allows the user to define the extent of the map based on a rectangle. |

Zoom Out - This tool allows the user to zoom out 1 level and center on a point. |

Pan - This tool allows the user to dynamically drag and pan the map. |

Zoom to Full Extent - This tool allows the user to zoom out to the full extent of the data. |

Zoom to Last Extent - This tool allows the user to go back to the last map extent. |
 |
Toggle Vicinity Map - This tool allows the user to toggle the visibility of the vicinity map. |

Distance Measure - This tool allows the user to measure distances on the map. Use the left mouse button to define segments of the line and the right mouse button to stop. |

Clear Graphic(s) - Clear any highlight and buffer graphics from map view. |

Identify - This tool allows the user to pick a feature on the map and have its attributes returned to the results window. |

Maptip - This tool allows the user to hover over a feature on the map and have its attributes returned as a mouse tip. |

Custom Action - This tool allows the user to pick a feature on the map and launch an external web page application using the highlighted features attributes. |

Drill Down - This tool allows the user to pick a feature on the map and use its geometry to drill down through a number of layers and return all found layers attributes' to the results window. |

Selection Action - This button controls the action the various selection tools have on a selection set. New/Add/Remove |

Select Single Feature - This tool allows the user to pick a single feature on the map and manipulate the selection set based on the "Selection Action". |

Select by Circle - This tool allows the user to pick features by dragging a circle on the map and manipulate the selection set based on the "Selection Action". Click and hold the left mouse button on the desired center point, then drag out to define radius. |

Select by Line - This tool allows the user to pick features by defining a polyline on the map and manipulate the selection set based on the "Selection Action". Use the left mouse button to define segments of the line and the right mouse button to submit request. |

Select by Box - This tool allows the user to pick features by defining a rectangle on the map and manipulate the selection set based on the "Selection Action". Click and drag on the map to define rectangle. |

Select by Polygon - This tool allows the user to pick features by defining a polygon on the map and manipulate the selection set based on the "Selection Action". Use the left mouse button to define sides of the polygon and the right mouse button to submit request. |

Clear Selection Set - This button allows the user to clear the display of the active selection set. This will permanently delete the selection set records. |

Zoom to Selected Set - This button allows the user to zoom to the minimum extent to display the features of the active selection set. |

Selection Management - This button allows the user open a dialog form to manage the available selection sets. |

Printable Map - This button allows the user open a dialog form to setup printable map parameters. A new window will open with a map of the appropiate size. |

Change Site - This button allows the user open a dialog form to choose from a list of available sites. The interface will reload with the new site configuration. |

Change Profile - This button allows the user open a dialog form to choose from a list of available profiles. The interface will reload with the new profile configuration. |

Change Extent - This button allows the user open a dialog form to choose from a list of available extents. The interface will reload with the new extent configuration. |
