The scale bar is used to give a visual representation of the current extent
relative to the maximum and minimum extent of the map. The red tick
shows the current relative position of the extent. The and
icons are used to zoom in and out at 50% of the current extent.
Scale Input Box
The scale input box serves two purposes. It shows the current map scale and
it allows the user to input the desired scale to view. Type the desired value
into the input box and click on the icon to
submit.
Predefined Scales
The scale list is opened by clicking on the icon. Zoom levels are
pre-defined by the MapOptix System Administrator. Each zoom level represents a defined map scale. The
center of the map will remain constant when you zoom in and out using the predefined values.
